As if I needed any more proof that islam is barbaric, insane and disgusting, I found this video last night at AtheistNation. muslims have the gall to call themselves a religion of peace? Could you be any more hypocritical than that? Insane. Completely insane.
Please watch this 3 minute video:
I’ve been wanting to talk about this ever since I found out about it, but finding the video brought this issue to the forefront and gave me a clear venue for expressing my thoughts. A few months ago, my husband told me that muhammad was a pedophile. I admit I’d never read the quran so I didn’t know that. What could be more reprehensible than for a 52 year old man to fuck a 9 year old girl? There is no nice way to say it. It’s rape, it’s barbaric, it’s sick and evil, and beyond comprehension.
Here is a picture of a 9 year old girl. She certainly looks emotionally, physically and psychologically ready to be raped by her husband, doesn’t she? NO! Of course not! That’s horrific! Read more…
If I believed in divine providence I would say that destiny helped me stumble upon the following movie. But I’m as godless as can be, so I just have to thank whoever posted Religulous to AtheistNation. I don’t go to the movies, so I didn’t get to see it in the theaters. But I watched it a bit ago and I have to say I’m glad I did. It was excellent.
Here is the full movie (140 minutes)
I learned some interesting facts and tidbits, but most of what Bill Maher finds out in these interviews around the world are not new to me. But combined with his commentary, it is interesting and provocative, to say the least. Read more…

Here are 20 reasons I have to be godless. Consider it a work in progress because I’m sure there are plenty of other great reasons I am not thinking of right now. I certainly welcome your suggestions for future lists and refinements.
- I understand that Zeus, Santa, the Easter Bunny, Odin, Osiris and all of their ilk are fairy tale characters, stories made up to explain things that weren’t known at the time, or to get weak-minded people to do what someone wanted. They are all just stories to tell to children or sheep, to keep them in line or entertain them. Jesus, Yahweh, Allah and Jehovah are no different. I’ve studied world religions. They’re all mythical and steal from each other. They are all about submission and control of simple people through fear and coercion. Read more…

Yesterday I wrote a post called the Burden of Proof Lies With The Claimant in which I talked about the burden of proof and who is responsible for it, namely the person making the claim or complaint. I talked about how theists believe in a god, so it’s up to them to prove that god exists, since it’s an extraordinary claim which requires extraordinary evidence, none of which has ever been forthcoming.
The first comment I got on the post was from a man named Brian. When I got up this morning and read his comment I was inspired to reply. After a few minutes I realized my response was quite lengthy and decided a follow-up post was in order. After his comment you’ll find my thoughts. So here is his comment in its entirety:
There are a string of points here, but let’s just just address one of them which is the position of unbelief.
You see the world though a pair of glasses of unbelief. Everything is skewed and interpreted from that framework.
My guess is that your belief that God does not exist is so strong that you would not change that under any circumstances.
If God turned the sea into blood, swiped the stars from the sky, turned the moon blood red and blocked out the light of the sun (which is exactly what He WILL do) there will be millions of people that STILL refuse to believe what the Bible says.
