indifferent to your suffering

Here’s to an interesting year coming to a close, and the beginning of a fresh new year full of change and promise.

i be ok

I hope you’re all having fun with your celebrations and being safe getting to and from any parties.

tell me bout you

This change is really just an arbitrary moment in time. A time to take stock, and a time to celebrate.

bacon not done yetNext year will be awesome. I know, that’s my optimism speaking, but we’ll make it the best year it can be. :)

optimist kitteh, pessimist kittehThank you for helping me be my best this year. Luvz U guyz!

Aww, damnit, I was aiming for posting at exactly midnight. But my awesome husband just called to wish me a Happy New Year. Damn, I love that guy. Ok, thank you again for being such great readers and commenters. Suggestions always welcome, as are guest posters. :)

Since I’m already late, how about one more lolcat? Let’s see if I can find a really good one. (actually the optimist pessimist is one of my favs at the moment :P )

Have you ever been spread too thin? Like butter and jelly on toast… and there’s just not enough to get all the corners. It’s edible but not as delicious as it could be. I’m like that. My company came and went, but I feel like I’m still run down. My husband and I are fighting a flu or cold or something too.

To top it off, I have too many pans in the fire. Tomorrow I’ll take one pan out by consolidating one more blog into this one. Actually, you might notice that I’ve already imported the few articles I wanted to save from there. Tomorrow is when I do the forwarding.

Anyway, that’s the good news. One less thing pulling me away from Heaving Dead Cats. Because we all want to heave dead cats, now don’t we! :D I sure hope we don’t catch this nasty cold we’re fighting off. If I disappear for a few days, it means I’m miserable, on the couch, unable to get to my computer. I’ll be back though. I make a mean chicken soup when I’m sick. I don’t think it gets me better any faster, but it sure is comforting.

We’re still looking for contributors and authors, whether you want to submit something once, or you want to do a regular post. Email me at heavingdeadcats@gmail.com.

I just barely survived having company for over a week. It was a near thing, but I somehow made it through without going totally crazy or killing my guests (my sisters-in-law). So I’ll get back in the swing of things as soon as I can, but the next three days will also be incredibly busy as I’m taking a motorcycle safety course.

Again, let’s hope I don’t kill anyone! :P

I hope you’re all doing fine and are happy.

Just a quick note to let you know we’re joining the Atheist Blogroll, so direct your attention to the shiny and new link on the right sidebar. :D I might not have the right code installed yet, but hey, I’m not that much of a geek.

My company arrived safe and sound, so I don’t have much free time. Don’t forget, we’re looking for YOU to post to HDC! Whether you want to post something just once, occasionally, or you’d like to do something more regularly, let us know!
